On Sunday 4/29/ 2012 riders, spectators and friends enjoyed a great day for the spring Jumper/Equitation show at Schelford Farm. This is a VHSA Associate Show that offered 25 classes designed for schooling as well as competition over modified Jumper courses ranging in height from the "Puddle Jumper" to a modified Jumper at 3'6". We offered classes for OTTB jumpers, a Derby and a Mini-Prix that provided fun as well as cash prizes. FHC is grateful for the hospitality of landowners Mary Scott and J.B. Birdsall who graciously allowed us the use of their ring. Show organizers Robin Lundgren, Karen Bull and Stephanie Guerlain had a hard working crew of FHC volunteers who were delighted to get the spring show season started. Joy Crompton judged approximately 40 entries from local area farms who came to compete over a beautiful course of natural and stadium fences.
